Intergroup Procedures

Intergroup Operating Procedures and Guidelines

The object of these operating procedures is to provide for the continuing successful
operation of the Greater Vancouver Intergroup Society, in accordance with the Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Alcoholics Anonymous.

They set out an organizational framework for Intergroup that the groups have all agreed to, not one that has been imposed upon them from any outside authority.

Within this booklet is a description of the many opportunities for individual members of Alcoholics Anonymous to carry this message and be of service to the larger fellowship and the still-suffering alcoholic in their community.

The new Procedures and Guidelines were adopted by the Greater Vancouver Intergroup after review by the registered groups in the Greater Vancouver Intergroup Service Area in a group conscience process in 2016. Click the image for the full text.
